ERIAC existiert, um das Selbstwertgefühl der Roma zu steigern und negative Vorurteile der Mehrheitsbevölkerung gegenüber abzubauen der Roma durch Kunst, Kultur, Geschichte und Medien. ERIAC fungiert als internationales kreatives Zentrum zur Unterstützung der Austausch kreativer Ideen über Grenzen, kulturelle Bereiche und Roma-Identitäten hinweg. ERIAC möchte der Förderer von sein
Roma-Beiträge zu europäischer Kultur und Talent, Erfolg und Leistung sowie zur Dokumentation des Historischen Erfahrungen der Roma in Europa. ERIAC existiert, um ein Kommunikator und öffentlicher Erzieher zu sein, um zu verbreiten a positives Image und Wissen über Roma für den Dialog und den Aufbau von gegenseitigem Respekt und Verständnis.

Das ERIAC-Büro in Berlin dient als Zentrale zur Unterstützung des großen Netzwerks von Roma-Individuen und Organisationen, die in den Bereichen Kunst und Kultur tätig sind. Das Front Office in Berlin bietet Platz für eine Galerie für zeitgenössische Kunst sowie ein öffentlich zugängliches Bildungsprogramm für Einzelbesucher und Besuchergruppen. ERIAC als internationale Drehscheibe ist bestrebt, Aktivitäten von Hunderten von Roma-Organisationen, Intellektuellen und Künstlern zu fördern multilaterale Initiativen und regionale Bündnisse zu bilden und sie mit den politischen Entscheidungsträgern und Führern der verschiedenen Länder zu verbinden nationaler und europäischer Ebene.

ERIAC ist überwiegend im Bereich Kunst und Kultur tätig und organisiert kulturelle Veranstaltungen, wie Ausstellungen, Konzerte o.ä Konferenzen sowie an Medien- und Kommunikationskampagnen zur Förderung von Kunst und Kultur beteiligt. Als Mitgliedschaft Organisation engagiert sich ERIAC mit dem breiten Netzwerk seiner Mitglieder. Einerseits richtet sich ERIAC an die breite Roma-Gemeinschaft, insbesondere an Roma-Organisationen und interessierte Einzelpersonen Kunst und Kultur der Roma sowie Musiker, Künstler, Kulturschaffende etc. Andererseits arbeitet ERIAC mit den meisten öffentlichen und privaten Institutionen, Organisationen und Einzelpersonen zusammen, um dies zu erreichen Aufbau von Partnerschaften und gegenseitigem Verständnis zwischen Roma und Nicht-Roma.

ERIAC exists to increase the self-esteem of Roma and to decrease negative prejudice of the majority population towards the Roma by means of arts, culture, history, and media. ERIAC acts as an international creative hub to support the exchange of creative ideas across borders, cultural domains and Romani identities. ERIAC aims to be the promoter of Romani contributions to European culture and talent, success and achievement, as well as to document the historical experience of Romani people in Europe. ERIAC exists to be a communicator and public educator, to disseminate a positive image and knowledge about Romani people for dialogue and building mutual respect and understanding.
The ERIAC’s office in Berlin serves as the headquarters to support the large network of Roma individuals and organizations working in the fields of arts and culture. The front office in Berlin gives space to a contemporary art gallery and an educational program which is open to the public and welcomes individual visitors and visitor groups.
ERIAC as a international hub strives to promote activities of hundreds of Roma organisations, intellectuals and artists to form multilateral initiatives and regional alliances, and to connect them with the policy makers and leaders of the different national and European levels.
ERIAC acts predominantly in the field of arts and culture, organizing cultural events, such as exhibitions, concerts or conferences, as well as engages in media and communication campaigns promoting arts and culture. As a membership organization, ERIAC engages with the broad network of its membership.
On the one hand, ERIAC targets the broad Roma community, especially Roma organizations and individuals interested in Roma arts and culture, as well as musicians, artists, cultural producers etc.
On the other hand, ERIAC works with the majority public and private institutions, organizations and individuals in order to build partnerships and mutual understanding between Roma and the non-Roma.
