Callús is a small municipality of 2000 inhabitants located in the center of Catalonia, 60 km from Barcelona. Despite its small size, the social and cultural life of the municipality is very rich. The town hall is a local administration and is the first entry of the population in terms of public services. The town hall is located in the center of the town and follows the principles of solidarity and equality, guaranteeing equal attention to all the inhabitants of the town, regardless of origin, sex, religion ...
This has several municipal spaces: the "llar d'infants" Mainada, the Joventut primary school, the municipal music school, the Sant Sadurní residence for the elderly, the Obert Center (for the integration of children and young people), the Adult School, a Casal where cultural events are organized, cultural spaces where literary and musical presentations are made, a room in the town hall where neighborhood meetings and presentations are held, and a large sports area that has a field soccer, swimming pool, volleyball court, tennis courts, basketball court, petanque courts, agility court, paddle tennis courts, and outdoor sports court to practice soccer 7.
The city council has a political and a technical structure. The policy consists of a mayor and 7 councilors, and the technique consists of more than 20 professionals distributed in the different services to the community.
The town hall is divided into different areas:
- Sports, sustainability, civil protection and security
- Participation, trade and tourism
- Youth, environment and animal welfare
- Urban planning, services and maintenance
- Education, social services and care for the elderly, women and the LGTBI collective
- Health, mobility and communication
- Culture

In May 2019, a youth facilitator was incorporated into the town hall that organizes activities and proposals for the development of young people in the town.




Callús es un municipio pequeño de 2000 habitantes situado en el centro de Catalunya, a 60 km de Barcelona. Pese a su reducido tamaño, la vida social y cultural del municipio es muy rica. El ayuntamiento es una administración local y es la primera entrada de la población en cuanto a servicios públicos. El ayuntamiento está situado en el centro de la población y sigue los principios de solidaridad y igualdad, garantizando la atención por igual a todos los habitantes del pueblo, sin tener en cuenta el origen, sexo, religión...
Este dispone de varios espacios municipales: la "llar d'infants" Mainada, la escuela de primaria Joventut, la escuela municipal de música, la residencia de la tercera edad Sant Sadurní, el Centre Obert (para la integración de niños y jóvenes), la Escuela de adultos, un Casal donde se organizan eventos culturales, espacios culturales en el que se hacen presentaciones literarias y musicales, una sala en el ayuntamiento en el que se hacen reuniones de vecinos y presentaciones, y una amplia zona deportiva que cuenta con campo de futbol, piscina, pista de voley, pistas de tennis, pista de basket, pistas de petanca, pista de agility, pistas de pàdel, y pista polideportiva al aire libre para practicar futbol 7.
El ayuntamiento cuenta con una estructura política y otra técnica. La política consta de un alcalde y 7 concejales, y la técnica consta de más de 20 professionales distribuidos en los distintos servicios a la comunidad.
El ayuntamiento se divide en distintas áreas:
- Deportes, sostenibilidad, protección civil y seguridad
- Participación, comercio y turismo
- Joventud, medio ambiente y bienestar animal
- Urbanismo, servicios y mantenimiento
- Educación, servicios sociales y atención a las personas mayores, mujeres i el colectivo LGTBI
- Salud, mobilidad y comunicación
- Cultura

En mayo del 2019 se ha incorporado una dinamizadora juvenil en el ayuntamiento que organiza actividades y propuestas para el desarrollo de los jovenes en el pueblo.
