Politik zum Anfassen e.V. is a non-profit, registered association, which develops and carries out political education and media projects school classes and adults since the year 2006.Our organisation considers itself an event agency for knowledge and positive democracy experiences: Whether we create simulation games, movies, surveys, interactive exhibitions or more, we combine democratic participation of young people and education to promote active citizenship throughout Germany with fun and impact.
In addition, the young team involves participants in areas where participation is not common for all young people: Vocational education, culture, music, journalism, urban development and more. We are an independent and non-partisan association and hold the view that it is important to motivate young people to participate in building democracy.
Politicians from all parties take part in our projects - who is declared electable by the municipal election leader is welcome to participate in our projects. We deliberately do not want to exclude anyone from the discourse. Content issues need to be discussed and won over at the level of politics – everybody is welcome who is committed to our community and the free-democratic order and who recognizes the constitution. We are convinced that a democracy needs openness – especially also to people who may not agree to our opinions. Politik zum Anfassen reaches out to everybody and does not determine its work on a specific target group.
