Since 01.01.2021 the lower Austrian health organisation agency (NÖ Landesgesundheitsagentur) is operating 50 care and nursery centers (as well as 27 hospitals) in Lower Austria. As the biggest provider of daycare in the county, they face the demographic change with new, innovative concepts and keep on developping their services. The human being as such is the center of our motivation and thrive for improvement. We offer not only medical care, but we offer care for our clients that goes beyond that. We see our clients as human beings with individual needs that need to be taken care of. Thus, we offer elderly people and people with chronical diseases living space, care and a great variety of activities that are offered by a dedicated team of volunteers with the aim to contribute to the resident’s well-being and quality of life.
Depending on the personal suitability and interest of the volunteers, they are active in fields of biography work, simply spend time with the elderly people, support with little handlings, go for walks, get involved in creative activities such as crafting, making music, organise events, do garden work, go for excursions and more.
There are also occasions when family and friends of the elderly people are invited, thus, they also are targeted by the managers of honorary service who coordinate the whole honorary processes.

Inclusion as described in the program guide shall be a focus of our future ESC projects, by having a strong supportive network, gaining knowledge to support young people with various obstacles and resources to be acquired in case of mental support or necessities of physical adaptations.
We are coordinated by “Jugend:info NÖ”, a Lower Austrian youth information centre, specialised on the preparation and mediation of non-commercial information suitable for young people. Youth information services support young people in their development and provide free, up-to-date, relevant, and understandable information. With these actions, their services and activities promote the empowerment of young people. Information provided is available on an anonymous basis, free of charge, accessible in an easy-to-understand format for our target groups. In addition, Jugend:info NÖ represents the regional office for the EU Youth Programmes Erasmus+ Youth in Action and European Solidarity Corps. In this function, they promote the EU Youth Programs via different channels, offer consultancy, build and maintain networks, support young Lower Austrians to go abroad, and much more. Their target groups include young people (age 13-30) as well as people who work with adolescents and in the field of youth work (such as parents, teachers, youth workers, politicians, multipliers, etc.).
