Saldus Elementary School (comprehensive) is the oldest school in town, founded in 1904, with 400 students of age between 7 and 16 and 41 teachers. The school carries out 4 educational programs (packages): 1. Basic Course; 2. Basic Humanitarian (Languages) and Social Course; 3. Basic Professional Course; 4. Basic Math, Science and Technical Course. Three foreign languages are taught at Saldus elementary school - English, German and Russian. There are many out of class activities and hobby groups at Saldus elementary school - drama, choir, ensemble, folk dances, media, rules of the road and lots of different sport activities (e.g. general fitness training, athletics, volleyball, basketball, floorball).
Saldus elementary school’s mission is to create a positive environment for the growth of each student by developing a responsible, purposeful and creative personality. The values of our school is safety, responsibility, respect.
