Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Nefeleonas is a Social Cooperative based in Heraklion, Crete, Greece (www.nefeleonas.gr). It works in a wide range of fields to promote environmental protection, local development, European mobility, social integration and intergenerational cooperation. More specifically, Nefeleonas Social Cooperative opeartes a youth and educational centre in Heraklion, Crete, Greece. The centre promotes European mobility through the Erasmus plus programme and other European programmes. It also organizes traineeships for students of the local Universities in Greece. Moreover, Nefeleonas Social Cooperative promotes social and cultural projects focusing on handcrafts, psycotherapy/musicotherapy and social integration of vulnerable groups. Nefeleonas Social Cooperative also runs a caffee that serves ecological, traditional and fair trade foods and drinks. The members and the target group of Nefeleonas Social Cooperative comes from all ages, since it wishes to promote intergenerational cooperation.
