Beschreibung der Einrichtung

Tobiasschule is a Waldorf school with the aspect of special needs education. The students from first to 12th grade are children with mental and physical disabilities. The aim of the school is to provide a suitable education for children and youngsters with special needs in small classes of maximum 12 children with special education professionals. The whole school is working under the Waldorf philosophy, which enables individuals to not only obtain general knowledge for their future life and profession but especially focuses on developing the children's personality focusing on their individual strengths. The philosophy of the school is to provide a proper education where every child feels free to learn and develop themselves no matter what kind of physical or mental conditions they are in.
The regular activities are school days where the children have classes in different topics such as math, English, German, sports, handcraft, gardening, arts etc. Additionally we organize leisure time events like school festivals, theater performances and other events that include the students, parents and the local community.
