Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Zavod Metlika is Public institute for tourism, sports, culture and youth Metlika was was established in August 2018 by Municipality Metlika to carry out tasks of local development in municipality, but strongly connected to other organisations in region.

We are situated in small town Metlika with 3500 inhabitants just next to Kolpa river, which is border river with Croatia. Region Bela krajina is very well known in Slovenia for its beautiful nature and also well preserved folklore traditions.

Zavod Metlika operates with Youth Centre Metlika and Tourist information centre Metlika. Youth centre is well known in local area for providing educational and free time activities for youngeters. Our target group are young people from 15-30 from region and we are focused on fields of international cooperation, youth work, rural development, tourism, enterpreneurship non-formal education. Our regular activities are advisory for youngsters, free time leisure activities, educational hours, art workshops etc. In town there are some other youth organisations in fields of traditional and contemporaty dance, cultural events, sport and some other societies to cooporate with.

Our vision is to offer young people place for leisure time activities, international experiences, non-formal education and development of ideas.

Η οργάνωση αυτή επιθυμεί να συνεργαστεί με εθελοντές που δυσκολεύονται λόγω της κατάστασής τους να συμμετέχουν σε δραστηριότητες, από τις ακόλουθες κατηγορίες και για διάφορα είδη έργων:
