Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The first MFR was born in south west of France in 1937. Nowadays in France, the organisation consists of about 460 associations together + 255 worldwide. They are set up on shared principles : individual and collective responsability, involvement of the individuals and the communities, implementation of alternate training system and actions of development. A MFR is an association of families. The general meeting with all the actors of the MFR (parents, training period managers...) is an important moment in the running of the association. The families vote for their members in the board, which ensure a smooth running of the association.

The EDUCATIONAL METHOD practised in all the MFR is the ALTERNATE TRAINING SYSTEM.

The MFR's ambition is not only to teach abilities and ways of being, they also aim to teaching what citizenship is and a sens of togetherness. The school ensures the students full boarding, and organises lots of collective activities. It also tries to open minds to cultural life and prepare youngsters and adults to a successuful integration to society.

At the MFR de Bonne, there are about 200 students, in orientation courses (4th-3rd grades : 14-15 years old.) and vocational training (professional baccalaureate in landscaping, "care and childhood" and horticulture : 15-18 years old).
We purchase 3 main goals :
- the accompaniement to the professionnal project of the student
- the open-mindedness : cultural, sportive and social activities, european mobility
- autonomy of the students

The main activities are :
- education : general and professionnal courses
- organisation of the collective and everyday life (internship, meals, activities, projects...)
- accompaniement of professionnal project : visit of enterprises, meeting with professionnals
- organisation of projects :
* concerning sustainable development and ecology : installation of hives and creation of a vegetable garden in the school, reduction of the meat in the meal, reflexion about the carbon impact of our activities, development of the carpooling for students and employees...
* concerning open-mindedness : organisation of several school trips (each grade organizes a trip), organisation of humanitarian trips in Burkina Faso, organisation of many activities in partnerships with social and cultural organisations
