Summary: 4Wings is a Community Interest Company (CIC) based in Liverpool (Merseyside) that offers a supportive and safe environment to marginalized women who have suffered abuse and other socially excluded groups such as refugees and asylum seekers. 4Wings works closely to its clients by developing projects in consultation with clients and their expression of barriers faced. They also feedback on what services are most helpful in terms of their efforts to: regain self-esteem; recover from trauma; integrate into (new) communities. We use different methodologies and approaches to meet members long- term health and well being needs and collaborate with other local organisations to make sure that their needs are met holistically.

The organisation has a good track record of making a difference in lives of migrants as well as women from diverse backgrounds that are survivors of abuse and trauma. We have developed links with refugee communities and from feedback can share that clients find 4Wings a safe and non-judgmental space to express themselves and have a voice.

Aside from delivering a range of diverse projects aimed at the marginalised, isolated and excluded women (and men) in our community, 4Wings also has an established drop-in service to support clients with one to one coaching sessions, advocacy, personal development, developing of skills (employability, creative, language) & developing social networks.

We are migrants advocates and host events to raise awareness of migrant issues + facilitate cultural exchanges, in a bid to combat discrimination.

4Wings also implements outreach strategies to link us within the community and public agencies- who support our referral efforts. Because of this we have a good collaborative working relationship with local voluntary groups such as MEH, Asylum Link, British Red Cross MRANG as well as local colleges, the Police's Community Advisory Group (CAG), Job Centre & Housing associations.

4Wings over the years has established a trustworthy and safe working relationship with many migrants who have in turn recommended the service to family and friends.
