Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The main aim of the organization is to unite all youth organizations in Taurage region and represent their interests. Also, organization provides relevant information for these youth organizations and keeps them up to date. 'Taurage Round Table' also encourages patriotism, civil society activities, organizes different kind of events, lectures, trainings, festivals and other forms of youth activities. The organization is responsible for all the voluntary youth work in Taurage region. What is more, 'Taurage Round Table' delegates members to municipal council for youth affairs . Another important activity field of the organization - youth work. 'Taurage Round Table' coordinates two youth centers in Taurage region. Main activities in youth work - youth education, aiming at enabling young people to learn from experience and experiment (volunteering, independence, autonomy). Youth activities “reach” young people during their free time, when they are not within the family, at school, or at work. This involves the work of youth staff, education of youth leaders, buildup of youth initiative, development and implementation of civil, cultural, as well as social projects.
