City of Orivesi is a beautiful small city in mid-Finland. Orivesi Youth-services provides both on-school and free-time activities for children and youngsters between ages 7 to 29. Our work is preventive. We work with groups and individuals using functional methods promoting and increasing community thinking and well-being. This helps youngsters develop their social and everyday management skills. We aim to have a safe and healthy youth community where everyone is important and valuable, contributing and working together towards common goals. Our regular activities includes, for example, a new youth center, youth work at school, excursions, camps, international youth work, events and different kinds of projects.
