ZKS Akcija - Zdruzenie za Kultura, Sport i Zdravje - Akcija was created in March 2017 by several passionate people that firmly believe in what they do in Bitola, Macedonia. We are promoting European values and solidarity within our local community in Bitola, Macedonia. We aspire to follow the steps of successful NGOs in Europe and bring the latest trends and practices into our region. We are keen on working on topics that are attractive for our local youth such as active citizenship and other activities related to culture, music, sports - as the literate translation of 'Zdruzenie za kultura i sport' suggests - Association for Culture and Sports.

We take part in international activities on a regular basis. We believe that this experience will bring us not only new perspectives but also higher quality of our youth work both on local and regional level. To support this action, we also aim to organize international mobilities on a local level in the future and inspire local youth into taking action towards the change that they want to see in society.

Regarding the composition and the portfolio of our NGO, there are five active members that contribute on a voluntary basis and a wider circle of 20 other young people that support and take part in our activities. ZKS Akcija has its office in the city center of Bitola, Macedonia, with more than 150 meters square where most of the activities with the local youth are organized. The seat of the NGO will serve as a youth centre with a soundproof musical room in order to support our already established self-sustainable jamming session activities that were introduced by our most reliable partner from Luxembourg - ReAct. Our desire is to offer a more cosy environment where our volunteers will be able to do various non-formal activities. Since our creation, we have also managed to established regular hiking tours and non-formal workshops related to sports. Thanks to the inspiration of an international mobility that took place also in Luxembourg - youth exchange project (The muscle factory (part 1 and part 2)), our volunteers organized a couple of local follow-up events where they practiced street sport in the outdoor fitness park which is located 750 meters from the premises of the organization. These gatherings continued to happen once a month even after the foreseen follow-up activities were completed. Last but not least, we are also partners in a strategic partnership with the Luxembourgish, Czech and Estonian partners under the project called 'Spread the word' that started in 2019.

Apart from the above mentioned, we aim to establish an accreditation to send volunteers via the European Solidarity Corps initiative, take part in youth exchanges, trainings, conferences and other events of a similar character.
