Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Pärnu youth innovation center HUUB is made for youth in ages 15-26 and provides leisure activities and new learning opportunities in the center and outside (mostly in Pärnu). Two priorities are creating a community and creating new learning opportunities. HUUB was created in co-operation between the city council, local youth, and entrepreneurs. HUUB is open for youth for free and hosts events like concerts, workshops, seminars, and training. HUUB is open for 5 days per week, from 2 PM to 10 PM. HUUB makes an effort to ensure that events held at the center vary in topics and try to offer learning opportunities that youth can´t access elsewhere in the city of Pärnu. We co-operate with local schools to create new curriculums and present youth and their ideas to the schools and local government. We also invite schools to use our premises for economics classes and extra curriculum activities. After only being open since July 2020 HUUB community consist currently around 300 youth, mostly from local high schools and university. We also work with foreign exchange students to ensure their integration with our society and offer support. One of our main working areas is innovative youth work, we co-operate with local entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship programs to elevate new ideas and help them to come to reality. Our framework consists of the principle from youth to youth and we try to implement a solution-based mindset to our target group.
