Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

he municipality of Lainate (MI) is the coordinating entity which promoted the idea to welcome ESC volunteers in the town. In order to implement a true integrated and complete volunteering project, the Municipality has decided to include the volunteers in two specific services offered by the Municipality itself:

The first service aims at favoring the job placement of disadvantaged people, plans and develops high quality, tailor-made services for the public and private sector in different fields (such as social transport, residential and industrial cleaning, management of cycle stations and bicycles).This service is open to social innovation and takes care of individual services, and corporate welfare.
The second service is linked to disadvantaged people. It deals with high quality educational programmes for young people with disability, for elderly people in need, for children who live in situations of hardship and their families. This service focuses on creating social projects based on the needs, expectations and the rights of each individual.
The Municipality of Lainate is responsible to welcome and host young European volunteers by collaborating closely with the local community. For years, the municipality has been promoting social welfare and inclusion in its territory, by valuing volunteering actions and active commitment of the civil society and the young people.
