Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

We are a non public secondary school, applying the Free School Model in our education. The model is established locally in Lithuania, and it combines several education systems, including Max Brauer's method, phenomenon based method and Lithuanian general curriculum. Three main principals are: no stress; trust; and less is more. The child is the one who leads his own learning, and the teacher is the one to help not only to learn, but to grow in his uniqueness. We have approximately 20 students, 10-12 years old, this year (2020-2021). Every year 10 more students, age 10, join our community. Our students are of various backgrounds, we have students from poor and large families, as well as from socially regular families. Parents are active, volunteering in the school, friendly. Our day starts at 9 a.m. and lasts till 3 p.m. Each day contains 2 main lessons, each of them are 1.5 hours long, the break, 1 hour long, which we spend outside, and Artes liberales, 1.5 hours long - in the latter formal and non formal activities fall in. Once or twice a month we have a day out, when we spend all day in nature.
