The community of communes, Loudéac Communauté Bretagne Center is a Public Establishment of Intercommunal Cooperation whose mission is to meet the needs of the inhabitants of the territory of Loudéac Community in terms of:
- jobs and the economy,
- housing and habitat,
- environment,
- maintaining quality of life,
- local services: tourism, leisure, culture, sport,
The LCBC Community of Communes has 41 communes and 52,000 Inhabitants.
The Community of Communes has a working body to develop, discuss and propose projects:
- Commissions
- The Executive Board (President and Vice-Presidents)
- The Community Office (Mayors and Deputy Mayors)
- The Community Council
The community team is made up of a President, Xavier Hamon, 15 Vice-Presidents and 72 Community Councilors.
The Intercommunal Center for Social Action is the body of the community of municipalities which carries out social action missions:
- Personal services: carrying meals, transport on request
- Early childhood, childhood, youth, games library,
- Home help and care service
- Rental stock - social housing.
The accreditation request for hosting CES Volunteers is part of the Early Childhood / Childhood / Youth / Games Center.
The Early Childhood - Childhood - Youth Department carries out the following missions:
- A Relay for Parents and Nursery Assistants (welcome parents and provide information on the existing reception methods in the territory - professionalization of childminders - organization of play areas for children, parents and childminders)
- Coordination of Non-Accommodation Leisure Reception Centers (animation of a professional network of 11 Non-Accommodation Leisure Centers - organization of Inter-Center highlights - professionalization of animators - exchange of practices, etc.)
- A game library offering: loan of games, on-site games, traveling games areas and fun events.
- A Youth Information Point for young people aged 12 to 25: information for young people, prevention with young people and in schools, organization of Youth Information highlights (health, employment, international mobility, etc.), support for youth projects and youth association involvement.
- This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
