Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

The charitable organisation of social care “House of Mercy” is a structure that includes the following projects: help for Children, Youth, Mothers and Elderly. Our goal is the social adaptation and protection of people who are in difficult life situations.
Our regular activities are the following:
A home for elderly people, where we create decent and necessary living conditions for deprived people, their nutrition, clothes, bedding, furniture, personal hygiene facilities, a loving and caring environment, where they will feel loved and cherished; we provide social and incidental services and psychological, legal and spiritual help to elderly without support or family, .
Helping and supporting disadvantaged children through improvement of their living conditions, providing a healthy environment, medical care, training for the parents, involvement in socially useful work;
Provision of medical supervision for families in need, advisory medical aid in close cooperation with health care institutions;
Supporting people with special needs with necessary help (glasses, hearing aids, orthopedic products, prosthetics, special means for travel, etc.);
Campaigns and social-practical activities to prevent abortions and mothers' refusal from newborn babies, who are in difficult situations, providing support with their newborns;
Providing free psychological, social-pedagogical, socio-economic, informational and legal services to single mothers and pregnant women who have been in difficult life situations;
Providing housing for young people who graduated from the orphanage, teaching them responsitbility, independence and respect;
We are building and maintaining family relationships with people living in the House of Mercy, as well as with those who have already left their walls. Always in the center of our attention is the specific fate of every person, and we are looking for the best ways to help them. Built on the principles of Christian faith and human dignity, we help and support the ones in need.
