Beschreibung der Einrichtung

The association fairMATCHING was founded at the end of 2015 and has been supporting people with a refugee and migration background on their way into the labor market. Our services are voluntary and free of charge and range from job search assistance to educational and career consulting.

We work individually and at eye level, so that the competencies, interests, needs and expectations of the applicants can be ascertained and used for training or skill-appropriate employment. The benefit for both sides, employees and companies, is very important for us. The “Matching" must be fair for both sides, because only then a successful job placement and long-term employment is possible.

Since 2018, we are focused on participatory work with role models in various encounter formats and greatly appreciate their enormous contribution to activation and self-empowerment. With the end of 2020, we launched our matchBOX, opening up a new space for participatory projects. Volunteers will be primarily deployed in this area.

We are thinking of brunches for women", "fairMATCHING meeting points" with specific topics such as learning German, labor law, but also formats suggested by our target group and by the volunteers.

With our support volunteers should be able to organize events, do media work, communicate with people, participate on events, or even lead them; do networking in and with our target group. Ideally our volunteers have knowledge of Arabic and/or Dari/Farsi, as our main target group speaks these mother tongues.
