Descrição da organização

The University of Vedic Culture was founded in Kaunas 2012 and has been operating successfully for almost 10 years. Since 2018 we moved to Vilnius in ~600 sq.m. 3-storey building. Enthusiastic youth and experienced seniors merged together and a great combination was obtained, which continues its successful activities even at the Coronavirus times. Our organization is like a big family with a core of about 10-12 people, mostly youth. Together with other people, who contribute to the activities of the organization, the whole community is formed. Our care for quality of life is not only for the community members , but also for well-being of the whole of Lithuania and Europe. Therefore, our organization is engaged in a variety of educational and cultural activities, like dissemination of knowledge through books, magazines, internet television, lectures, various events and cultural programs/practices. We are open to everyone - people living a full-fledged and healthy life and people with fewer opportunities or some difficulties in life. Through non-formal learning, we share knowledge and experience with others and help them to develop such values ​​as awareness, sustainable and healthy lifestyle, tolerance, friendliness, solidarity, ecology, respect, integrity in society, self-expression. Especially dealing with a youth, who often can't find themselves and are distracted in life, suffering from various physical, mental or other illness or become addicted to various addictions.
