The municipality of Zugdidi, has been established in 14 July 2014. The City Mayor and the City Council has been elected through local elections. The City Hall is an institution under the supervision of the executive body of municipality, which provides the authority of the mayor. It is consisting of heads of city hall and structural units.
There are 9 structures in City Hall
Administrative Service
Budget and Finance office
Health, social security, veterans and refugees Department
Infrastructure and Economic Development Department
Internal Audit Service
Culture, education, sport, youth and monument protection department
Spatial planning, architecture and construction supervision Department
Supervisory Service
Military registration and conscription Service.

The municipality’s as well as Mayor’s mission and commitment is to serve the interests of the population of the City of Zugdidi, to provide them with necessary assistance in socio-economic terms and to take care of their welfare.
Since 2015 Zugdidi Municipality City hall has been involved in international Programs. The Cooperation with Youth Association Droni City Hall was actively involved in Municipal partnership programs.
Between the period 1-6 June of 2016 Zugdidi Municipality City Hall has been participated in Seminar “Multiplying the impact through cross-sectoral cooperation” together with tree other partner organization from 3 different countries.
