The Recycle Art Academy Foundation is engaged in creative and educational workshops for all who love nature and creativity.
In the studios we work in the field of applied and fine arts, using waste materials, giving them new life. In parallel, we are learning how to reduce the consumption of disposable plastic. We are learning how to live with the idea of ​​"Zero Waste" and composting. We create works of art and show people how to deal with waste.
The executive director and organizer of the activities in the organization is Natalia Nikolova a professional teacher of fine arts. In 2011 she started to lead creative activities for children under the name "Workshop Natalinko". In an effort to show the children something interesting, she began to use waste materials in the workshop. This is how the workshop for inventions from waste materials was created. The use of waste as a creative material provides a solution to tackling pollution as a major environmental problem.
This type of creative activity teaches not only children but also adults of creativity, care for nature, teamwork, communication, social relationships. The participants in the creative activities spend their free time fully, learning good practices and social responsibility.
Recycle Art Academy aims to show a new kind of interesting applied art, through participation in exhibitions, various events, festivals, auctions, projects in schools and kindergartens, personal projects of participants.
In the Аcademy, we try to manage by creating art the inorganic waste in the households of all participants, in the workshops in order to reduce garbage to public garbage containers.
Our mission is to change the educational system in the subject "Technology and Entrepreneurship" teaching green practices to children.
The idea is to introduce lessons that give full clarity about the various disposable waste and step-by-step lessons on how to turn them into something interesting, beautiful, and necessary.
