Fundación También is a non-profit organization that has been working since 2001 for the social inclusion of people with disabilities and the promotion of educational values in adapted sports, leisure and free time activities. We think especially in the youngest so that they can enjoy their free time in equal conditions. We provide adapted material, the necessary logistics and possible subsidies to cover the costs of courses, trips and activities for people with "different abilities". An incessant activity is carried out nationwide, reaching more than 9,000 beneficiaries and 200 associations. The professional team is made up of 10 people specialized in different fields: pedagogues, psychologists, sports and disability specialists. The president is Teresa Silva, a disabled sportswoman who has developed the project for 20 years with great success. The methodology used promotes autonomy and personal self-esteem in an individualized way through innovative activities, developing unusual sports in the offer for people with disabilities, since leisure and free time for this group is usually limited and always the same. Sport is very important, for physical and mental health, so we consider it essential to continue developing sports activities for this group Our main objective is to improve the quality of life and well-being of people with functional diversity by developing personal and social skills through inclusive sport
