Descrição da organização

Roots is a recognized and funded youth umbrella organization with 60 member organizations spread across Flanders. Roots was founded in 1998 and has 5 staff members on payroll.

What do we do?
Roots acts as a network organization between various Flemish and Brussels youth groups. Sharing knowledge as well as stimulating partnerships are central to this.
Guiding and shaping organizations, governments, companies on diversity and inclusion.
Youth Center Roots (Antwerp) a place where young people and organizations come together and strengthen each other and discover their passion.
Defending the interests of its members towards local and supra-local authorities. We want to give a voice to those who are not heard enough.

Mission
Roots is committed to making midfield accessible to everyone. Roots wants everyone regardless of origin, socio-economic status, belief…. to have access to youth and cultural activities. As an organization, Roots wants to be the driving force in the growth trajectory of all its members and ensure that everyone can reap the opportunities and possibilities of organizational life.

Roots believes in a society that shows solidarity and where people take on the challenges of the future together.
