Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Sustech Ability Association (SuA) was created, in 2021, with the purpose of developing social entrepreneurship and
providing youth personal and professional development opportunities, in Montemor-o-Novo, a city allocated in the
countryside, in the interior of Portugal.
We would like to dedicate more attention to the ones with special needs, youth without studying, working or in training, youth with disabilities, or from hard economic or social backgrounds. All these problems are more severe within the rural
community where people and resources are more scarce. There are plenty of needs in these territories, in a time where
parents and schools have very limited time and resources for the follow-up they would like to have. Lack of opportunities,
unemployment, depopulation, and isolation, there are just examples. By implementing capacity building programs that help in the development of the key competences for lifelong learning we seek to generate sustainable and efficient decisions for our lives that can also contribute to the planet preservation, and quality of life in our communities.
After seven years in the field of the Non-formal-education, we verify how the bond created by participants increased when
activities are implemented in small cities. Places where people know each other better and the respect, between themselves and also regarding the environment, is higher than in bigger cities where the noise around harms the human and nature relationships.
