There is a German Nationality Kindergarten founded 9 years ago in Nemesnáduvar in Bács-Kiskun county.

The 2 groups have 40 children, aged 3-6 years.

Its main objective is to provide kindergarten education, to learn about and pass on German national traditions
Their objectives are to contribute to the ESC programme:
To expand and enrich the kindergarten's European and international contacts. To provide an open and creative basis for the personal development of the children.

Our main task and aim is to familiarise the children attending our kindergarten with the customs, characteristics, traditions and costumes of the Swabian, peasant culture. They should have the opportunity to practise the minority dialect, learn new sayings, songs and dances. Children should discover the built and natural beauty of their immediate and wider environment, and become aware that they can already do something to protect their environment. They should also learn the names of natural phenomena (weather) and the typical flowers of waking nature in German. They should have the opportunity to extend their knowledge through activities in a natural environment. Our aim is to develop age-appropriate eating habits, to know the raw taste of fruits and vegetables and their German names. need for exercise, as much as possible in the open air. We try to develop a good and honest relationship with parents. We can count on each other's help in all areas.
