Opis organizacji

“World without Borders” began its activity in 2000. The main goals and objectives of the organization are to render a comprehensive aid and support for children with physical and mental disabilities and youth in conflict with the law. An important part of the work of the organization is to draw attention to the situation of children within the country and by addressing the state, and social organizations, in Belarus it has been possible to develop and implement nationwide and regional programs aimed at improving the current situation.
At the moment WWB has two directions of work:
1) the first direction of work is aimed to introduce and develop a model of social adaptation of residents of house- boarding institutions for children and young people with disabilities into the practice of social work in the Republic of Belarus. The basic direction of the activities is to reorient the system of house-boarding institutions for children and young people with disabilities from the principle of providing vital support to the principle of personal development and self-sufficiency assistance.
2) the second direction of work is aimed to reorientate of work with children and young people in conflict with the law, students of the closed type institutions from the principle of social exclusion to the principle of social inclusion through the introduction of a new model of interaction between governmental and non-governmental organizations.
