Stichting Pierson college is a high school that educates youngsters from 12-19 years old. They educate and coach them (around 1600 youngsters) to become strong, confident people who can make meaningful contributions to society. Core values of the school are: respect, commitment and consideration for others. As a high school with different levels of education (vmbo-t-havo-atheneum), non-formal and informal learning is a focus, to develop the youngsters' skills and talents to connect to the world around the school, e.g. other foundations and companies. This in order to connect with society. The high school wants to offer their youngsters the opportunity to develop themselves by bringing them in contact with phenomena and changes in our multicultural society, preparing them for that form of tertiary education that best suits their opportunities and interests. Being an educational organization for youngsters, the school has a very social, sustainable attitude and focus.
