Multiple sclerosis society of Brod - posavina county has been active since 2002. The organization was founded in order to promote the protection of human and other rights of people affected by multiple sclerosis. The role of the Society is to encourage, develop and enforce public policies and create conditions for independent life and equal opportunities for its members by offering social services, help, support and encouragement as well as a range of preventive actions in order to preserve their health and improve research, treatment, rehabilitation and protection. The aforementioned activities are also aimed at other marginalized groups, especially all persons with disabilities, unemployed and hard-to-employ people, young people etc.
Society organizes volunteering and inclusive volunteering activities and it encourages the development of publishing and other media activities in order to provide better information about the problems that people with multiple sclerosis and other marginalized groups face in their every day lives. For our member as well as other marginalized groups and other interested persons, we organize creative workshops, physiotherapy, psychological therapy and other counseling, socializing through cultural and social activities, educational activities, etc.
Our non - profit Radio 92fm has been founded by the Society in order to better inform the public, but also the Multiple sclerosis community.

  • This organisation holds a European Solidarity Corps Quality Label. The Quality Label certifies that the organisation is able to run projects in compliance with the principles and objectives of the European Solidarity Corps.
