"La Ligue de l'Enseignement de Normandie" is a non-formal education movement in Normandy's Region in the North West of France. Its vocation is to contribute to the progress of education in all its forms, in service of the democratic and republican values.
As part of National Education, it implements actions during school time (discovery classes, artistic and cultural project classes, training of teachers and future teachers, citizenship education).
Outside of national education, it is active in local education policies, either supporting affiliated associations or through its federal services.
Its kinds of activity outside school time are wides:
- educational leisure and holidays for children, young people and families,
- sports for all with "Ufolep",
- cultural action and information society (cinema, books and reading, multimedia, amateur artistic practices),
- European citizenship and intercultural learning,
- educational projects and support for schooling on extracurricular times,
- support for parenthood and enrichment of the family / school link,
- education for citizenship and sustainable development,
- training of socio-cultural animators, animators
"La Ligue de l'enseignement de Normandie" manages an Information Youth Point with the Eurodesk label, and educational leisure structures for children and teenagers who are living in a Caen's poor neighborhood.
