Kuldiga county Children and Youth center is Kuldiga municipality institution.
The purpose of the institution's activity is the development of students' skills and abilities according to their age, interests, individual needs and wishes, regardless of age and previous education.
The basic direction of the institution's activity are educational activities (interest education, youth work, career education and educational work) for children, young people and adults.
The target audience of the institution is children and young people from 3 to 25 years of age, as well as adults without age limit.
In our institution we also follow and support Solidarity value: we provide young people opportunities to engage in solidarity activities, which gives them opportunity to express their commitment to the benefit of communities while acquiring useful experience and competences for their personal, educational, social, cultural, civic and professional development, thereby improving their employability.
Kuldiga county Children and Youth center is the mains institution of Kuldiga municipality, that organizes and coordinates the youth volunteering work system of Kuldiga district. We offer and inform youngsters about volunteering work possibility, invite them to be volunteer and get new experience, knowledge, skills ands competences, that they can use in their career forward. We help with workplace search, account working hours, support workplaces, motivate, appreciate and reward volunteers.
