Περιγραφή της οργάνωσης

Snödroppen is a private kindergarten with state recognition. It´s located in the village Dormsjö, near Hedemora – one of the oldest cities in the county Dalarna in the middle of Sweden. The small village is surrounded by beautiful nature.
The basis there is Waldorf education, which is practiced worldwide. This seeks to lovingly accompany and support the growing human being in his development from infant to adult. The child is perceived as a holistic being. Its physical, mental, and spiritual development is supported and promoted in the best possible, healthy, and age-appropriate way. This pedagogy emphasizes not only the intellectual but also the manual and artistic abilities of the child. Another focus is to develop in the child a lasting relationship with nature - our basis of life. - Quite a few Waldorf schools have already received UNESCO recognition for sustainable or future-oriented education.
