Descrição da organização

ELA SICILIA is the non-profit cultural association based in Palermo, Sicily. The Association's aim is to support cultural and pedagogical development, intercultural dialogue, and social inclusion and integration. The main tasks of the Association are:
- to contribute to the cultural and pedagogical development of European citizens and the dissemination of solidarity and intercultural dialogue
- to organize events, laboratories, conferences, workshops, training courses aimed at the realization of the social purpose
- to organize educational activities aimed at members for in-depth study of cultural and pedagogical issues
- to organize cultural, artistic and recreational activities for the promotion of intercultural dialogue and Sicilian culture
- to organize conventions, congresses, trips and tours in the educational, recreational and cultural field
-to make proposals to public bodies and develop European projects in line with the social purpose

In order to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, ELA SICLIA promotes, supports and carries out: recreational and cultural activities including those disciplines and activities of an educational, pedagogical, and social promotion nature; socially useful activities; intercultural exchanges and European projects of an intercultural, cultural, and educational nature.
