Deixant Empremta borned in 2019 with the purpose to develop active youth citizenship and to promote volunteering among young people from Solsona and Cardona, two towns in the rural area in Catalunya, isolated from the big cities, where the opportunities for the young people are few.
Through our projects and activities we would like to help our youth to take important decisions that can help in their personal and professional development. Focusing much more on the ones with less opportunities and resources. Working on skills such as critical thinking, emotional intelligence, storytelling and assertiveness.
We are also aware that rural communities are a little bit close-minded, because of this we want to boost cultural exchange, as a tool for personal growth.

Our goals are:

Promote rural environments as places where to create opportunities for work, live and increase the quality of life.
Develop sustainable programs that prepare youth for a better future and help the inclusion of people with fewer opportunities.
Share knowledge, cultural exchange and different perspectives by the implementation of national and international motilities programs, using Non-formal-education as a tool.
Promote active citizenship, social responsibility and solidarity with a view of good practice and responsible behaviors.
