The municipality of Plœuc-L'Hermitage, located in the Côtes d'Armor department in France, now has 4,200 inhabitants. Rural and dynamic, this territory of Central Brittany benefits from an attractive geographical location thanks to its proximity to the town of Saint-Brieuc and the seaside only twenty minutes by car.. Plœuc-L'Hermitage offers many services to the population, such as: five primary schools, two colleges, various structures adapted to seniors and adults with disabilities, a media library... Complete and diversified, the associative fabric offers the possibility to residents to enjoy sporting and cultural activities in the town. Many events are also organized throughout the year, such as mountain biking championships, archery championships and the Potato Festival for example. The municipality carries out various projects linked to local development (revitalization of the town center in particular by setting up a car-sharing electric car service), but also linked to European cooperation (Leader, ERASMUS + with a project linked to firefighters, a mountain bike project and a project for seniors). The actions carried out by the municipality are aimed at the inhabitants of the municipality, whether they are children, young people, active or retired, and thus help to promote social diversity.
