Beschreibung der Einrichtung

Projecto Novas Descobertas is an educative and recreational non-profit association, with 29 years of existence. Since the beginning, we work to facilitate spaces where every individual, regardless of their origin, background, and experiences, can be authentic and in communion with nature, and create regenerative bonds with itself, the community and the landscape and local ecosystems.
Our main goal is to cultivate new discoveries for eco-social regeneration, explore new perspectives, share tools, and make our network grow beyond the sustainability, promoting a collaborative approach that optimizes our intervention and raises the impact on our beneficiaries.
We implement a varied set of activities, counting on national and international participation, and our main target groups are children and young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, but we also work with adults and groups of students from our local schools.
We believe that, to solve social and environmental problems we are facing nowadays, our society needs solutions that go beyond sustainability, and can prove to be innovative, comprehensive, and mindset-changing in terms of our role as part of nature, instead of its mere users.
