The association SUPPORT, established 12 years ago by a dedicated group of individuals active in the field of youth work, recognized a significant gap in the offerings for young people at risk of exclusion and those facing various disadvantages in the Gmunden area and the entire Salzkammergut region. At that time, participation in the 'Youth in Action' program was unattainable through existing organizations, and numerous other services remained inaccessible to disadvantaged youth due to financial or social constraints.

Consequently, the association was founded with the purpose of delivering targeted projects for the specific demographic of disadvantaged young people, facilitating their involvement in European educational programs. Our primary goal is to empower young people, particularly those with fewer opportunities, enabling them to participate in social and cultural life, fostering personal growth, and preventing exclusion.

We aim to achieve these goals by:

Supporting a respected way of life within mainstream society
Combating the loneliness experienced by young individuals
Promoting a healthy lifestyle and mental well-being
Facilitating the self-empowerment of disadvantaged young people
Contributing to competitiveness in the labor market
Strengthening understanding of democratic processes and European citizenship
