The City Council of Alguazas is a local public entity that actively works with young people through training, educational, work activities and activities focused on leisure and free time of Alguazas, municipality located 15 km from the center of the Region, with more than 10.000 inhabitants and approximately 1.600 young people between 16 and 30 years old.

The City Hall establishes close relationships with young people, providing them with enriching youth exchange experiences and support in their diverse interests. We promote sport, athletics and competition activities, cultural activities, sustainable leisure, language learning and mobility, and we encourage young people from other countries to come and meet the young people of our municipality.

The City Council of Alguazas carries out various activities and programs aimed at young people in order to encourage their participation, personal and social development. These activities not only seek to provide entertainment, but also to contribute to the integral development of young people, encouraging their active participation in society through the promotion of common identity, social interaction, citizen participation, social interaction, education and awareness, conflict reduction and local development, and are fundamental to building and maintaining social cohesion, enriching the community fabric by fostering shared experiences, understanding and collaboration, as they create a dynamic social environment.
