frEsch animates the cultural scene of Esch-sur-Alzette by supporting, coordinating and developing projects, events and creative spaces. Created in 2020, frEsch's mission is to contribute to the implementation of the City of Esch's cultural strategy [Connexions]. Today, FrEsch is positioning itself as a key player in the city's international cultural influence, ensuring continuity of the title of European Capital of Culture obtained in 2022 (‘Esch2022’). Through its ‘Esch Cultural Capital’ label, FrEsch brings together local cultural players to continue the metamorphosis of Esch, transforming the city into a creative crossroads open to the world.

frEsch actively contributes to the cultural life of Esch-sur-Alzette through :
- Organising major events such as the Francofolies Esch/Alzette and the Nuit de la Culture, major annual events that showcase artistic and musical diversity.
- Managing creative venues such as Bâtiment4, a space for artistic creation and experimentation, open to artists and innovative initiatives.
- Co-ordinating the Esch Cultural Capital Biennial, a twice-yearly event that continues the legacy of Esch2022, highlighting the city's cultural wealth on the international stage.
- Creating synergies between artists, residents and local partners (associations, shopkeepers, businesses) to encourage collaborative projects and develop original cultural initiatives (mainly through the strategy "Grands Rêveurs").
