We are a sheltered workshop TopArt and we provide our clients with a space to participate in social life, to acquire social and work skills that are weakened or not developed due to disability. Our main goal is to bring together disadvantaged people and support them not only in the labour market, but also in various activities. We teach them to overcome information and communication barriers in their integration. Thanks to the work they can do with us, they gain a sense of importance and independence. We also place importance on the presentation of their feelings, moods and self-presentation in the form of art and sports activities.
Our main target group is therefore people with disabilities themselves. We work with different age groups in this area, but our emphasis is on working with young people with disadvantages. We are aware that young people are most likely to develop work habits and social skills that will enable them to avoid long-term unemployment in the future, despite varying degrees of disadvantage. At the same time, we try to work intensively with the parents of disadvantaged young people. Our third target group is volunteers, with whom we cooperate in organizing various regular and seasonal activities, such as courses, exhibitions, art competitions, public awareness activities. Our fourth target group is the local community and the public, to whom we offer services, creations and products of people with disabilities and participate in our events and courses.
