The Waldorf Sevilla Girasol International School is an association created by families and teachers in 2012 in Seville, Spain. The school is a meeting point of two generations that learn from each other, a place where children, families, and teachers can learn throughout their lives. It is a school that puts the international Waldorf curriculum into practice for children from the age of two to twelve years, making it possible for each child to bloom and show its skills and abilities within its community. The school consists of two kindergarden groups and we offer all primary classes from Year 1 to Year 6, accreditated by Neasc. The school is located in Mairena del Aljarafe, a small village at the outskirts of Sevilla. It is as well a school that meets the needs of each evolutionary stage, awakening the will, the emotional intelligence, and the critical awareness through 'doing', 'feeling' and 'thinking'.
Our school welcomes the great cultural variety of all families in and around Seville, and in general to all people interested in educational processes that lie in a local point of view but are nevertheless open to the world due to its respectful approach. Since 2018 we welcome volunteers from all over the world. Our school belongs to the Spanish Association of Waldorf schools in Spain.
