The Jean Hyppolite high school is a comprehensive high school in Jonzac which brings together a general and technological high school and a Vocational Education Section. It also offers post-baccalaureate training: the Brevet de Technicien Supérieur (BTS) Dietetics open since 1993.

Labeled “Lycée des Métiers de la Santé et du Social”, the Vocational Education Section (SEP) welcomes around 200 students in three professional sectors and a teaching team made up of 20 teachers.
The diplomas offered in the Professional Education Section are:
Certificate of Professional Aptitude CAP Accompanying Assistant in Old Age (AAGA) Certificate of Professional Aptitude CAP “Production and Service in Catering” (PSR) Dispositif ULIS
Professional Baccalaureate in Personal Support, Care and Services (ASSP) Learners are aged 16 to 19.
They often come from disadvantaged socio-professional categories; and may sometimes benefit from notifications for disability situations. Many of our students are learners with fewer opportunities, as our establishment is located in a rural area. The European volunteer would participate in the European and International intercultural opening that we wish to enhance.
