SIMECQ is a collective closely linked to a community - Cruz Quebrada-Dafundo - and exists to serve that community, especially its youth, and all those who seek it out. It was founded in 1880.
It has the following values:
*service to the community;

*civic participation;
*healthy competition
SIMECQ was founded on various sports disciplines, the main one being basketball. Besides that. there are many cultural, sporting, leisure and recreational activities carried out by this Association, such as:
*SIMECQ Band
*Music School
*Theater Group
*Arts Workshop
*Martial arts
*Athletics
*Aerobics
SIMECQ counts with around 200 athletes, 400 parents and members of the surrounding community.
