Are You Syrious? is founded in 2015 with the aim of raising social awareness and promoting social solidarity by providing humanitarian, informational, educational, and logistical assistance to socially vulnerable groups, training volunteers to work with refugees and other displaced persons, and informing the public and media about issues related to refugees and migration.
AYS is a grassroots initiative turn NGO. Located in Zagreb we are providing support to refugees and asylum seekers. In our integration center, we are operating a Free Shop (a free self-service store) and multiple integration programs (language courses, language and educational support for refugee children, employment assistance, assistance in obtaining rights, advocacy work etc.). If you are a supporter of human rights and looking for a dynamic and intercultural environment, this is the place for you to engage with issues of solidarity and equality.
