Amigos de Marruecos is a non-profit youth association that works to empower young people and promote intercultural understanding between Europe, Morocco, and other regions. Our mission is to create opportunities for learning, volunteering, and participation, with special attention to young people with fewer opportunities.
Our main goals are:
-Support youth empowerment through volunteering, training, and community projects.
-Promote dialogue and cooperation across cultures, breaking stereotypes and encouraging mutual respect.
-Improve employability by offering non-formal education, digital skills, and practical experiences.
-Foster inclusion of disadvantaged groups, including migrants, refugees, and NEETs.
-Encourage sustainable lifestyles and active citizenship.
Key activities include youth exchanges, international volunteering, local workshops, cultural mediation, environmental projects, and training for youth workers. We organize cultural and educational events such as festivals, exhibitions, and dialogue sessions, and we work in partnership with schools, municipalities, NGOs, and international networks.
Target groups are mainly young people aged 18–30, with a focus on those with fewer opportunities. We also involve children, families, and local communities, and we support youth workers through training and capacity-building activities.
