Opis organizacji

The New Wave Water Rescue Association is a young, dynamically developing civil society organization, whose main goal is to promote water safety, lifesaving and an environmentally conscious lifestyle among young people and local communities. The headquarters of the Association is located in Mátészalka, and its activities take place primarily in the Tisza and Szamos regions, as well as at the Poroszló SUP Base.
Our main goals include:
preventing water accidents and spreading knowledge of first aid,
involving young people in volunteering and community life,
supporting an environmentally conscious, active lifestyle through water sports and nature-based programs,
as well as strengthening local communities through collaborations and shared learning.
Our activities include lifeguard and first aid training, youth volunteer programs, school presentations, camps and community actions (e.g. beach cleanups, environmental events). We also participate in international youth projects where volunteers can actively contribute to a culture of safe and sustainable water use.
Our target groups are:
young volunteers (18-30 years old) – who want to learn new skills and develop in a community,
schools and youth groups,
as well as local residents and residents of waterside settlements who directly benefit from accident prevention and environmental protection programs.
