KIBBUZ – Zentrum für Kunst, Kultur und Bildung e. V. is a non-profit initiative founded by young Jewish activists, which also embraces and promotes cultural projects beyond the Jewish community. The organisation develops and implements innovative educational and cultural projects with a strong societal focus. KIBBUZ is committed to intercultural exchange, democracy education, media literacy, empowerment of young people, and preserving cultural heritage in its broadest sense. Through workshops, seminars, digital formats, artistic and cultural events, KIBBUZ stimulates critical thinking, civic engagement, and the strengthening of identity—both Jewish and more generally cultural—in a European context. Working in close cooperation with schools, youth groups, and civil society partners, KIBBUZ offers inclusive learning and creative spaces where diverse voices and histories are heard and valued. Target groups include young people and youth workers from a variety of cultural, social, and religious backgrounds. The organisation encourages collaboration, solidarity, and active citizenship, aiming to cultivate respect and mutual understanding among communities. KIBBUZ is officially recognised — including prize-winner by the German Federal Agency for Civic Education (BfDT) in the category “Active for Democracy and Tolerance”.
