Trabzon City Governorship is the highest public authority in the province of Trabzon, operating under the Turkish Ministry of Interior. As a public institution, it coordinates regional development, youth engagement, civil society cooperation and social inclusion policies. The Governorship aims to foster active citizenship, democratic participation and equal opportunities for all young people, especially those facing social, economic or geographical barriers. Our main activities include youth coordination, civic education, support for volunteering and solidarity initiatives, and strategic partnerships with NGOs, universities and municipalities. We regularly implement EU-funded projects, including Erasmus+ and ESC, and host awareness campaigns, training sessions and youth panels. We are applying for the ESC Quality Label to expand our role as a supporting organisation, enabling more young people from Trabzon and surrounding districts to access high-quality volunteering opportunities abroad. Our motivation stems from our commitment to empowering youth, promoting European values and contributing to inclusive social transformation through structured and ethical solidarity activities. We aim to build long-term partnerships and act as a regional hub for ESC outreach, mentoring and reintegration support.
