WPL aims at empowering women and youth in Lebanon to engage in local development processes and assume leadership roles in their community through community projects, networking, and common activities based on community engagement and youth volunteering. WPL develops solidarity and promotes tolerance among young people. Vision: Living in an open society, free from corruption, extremism, racism, and discrimination. A society in which love, peace, safety and prosperity prevails, and respect for women’s rights exists. Mission: To develop the social level of all citizens by combating poverty and empowering women and youth in the fields of educational development and building their capacities and openness to the other, in order to create jobs and prove oneself. Goals of the organization: 1. Promote a culture of tolerance and acceptance of the other, and work to protect human and family rights, promote civil peace, and combat domestic violence. 2. Empowering youth, women, and other marginalized groups, and strengthening their leadership roles in the local and national community. 3. Developing the society culturally, socially, environmentally, economically, and developing health and tourism. 4. Promote the concepts of accounting, participation, citizenship and good governance, and to apply them in society and management.
