Opis organizacji

D'Filmakademie (The Luxembourg Film Academy) is a non-profit professional association dedicated to bringing together film and audiovisual professionals in Luxembourg. Its primary aim is to celebrate, promote and support national audiovisual creation, while fostering dialogue and collaboration among all key actors of the Luxembourg film industry. To achieve these goals, the Academy organises the biennale Filmpräis, Luxembourg's national film awards and hosts a range of cultural events and industry networking activities connecting directors, producers, screenwriters, technicians and other audiovisual professionals. D'Filmakademie also supports film education initiatives aimed at schools and young audiences, and represents Luxembourg's film industry at the European level through active membership in international networks of film academies, managing also the FACE Federation of Film Academies Europe. Its target groups include established and emerging film professionals, film students and young talents, as well as the broader public with an interest in cinema and audiovisual culture.
